As Director of Design for EIG, a technology agency based in Indianapolis, I managed a small yet mighty team of designers and oversaw branding, product design and UX in the development of apps, MVPs, and web platforms. I collaborated with some of the friendliest people I have met in my career, and we excelled at transforming complex problem sets and use cases into palatable, intuitive, and human-centered solutions that helped a variety of organizations, startups, and industries. I also provided creative leadership and strategy for the agency itself, evolving the company brand, marketing, and design processes. We even garnered a Netty Award for Best UX Design, 2023.
Arkana Connect / App
Arkana Labs is a cutting-edge laboratory specializing in high-powered microscopic imagery for renal pathology. I led the design team, working closely with the Arkana team through valuable discovery workshops, to redesign and enhance their mobile app, arriving at a UX solution that aligned more with their branding and web platform, and allowed physicians to quickly review lab results for their patients through a more intuitive and personalized interface. Ultraviolet Lens / Web Platform
Ultraviolet is a cybersecurity company that required a unified interface for a suite of products, serving both customers and analysts. I directed product design and UX with our design team, focusing on a strategy that simplified navigation, reduced friction as well as redundancies, and provided a scalable design system of components that their team could use as building blocks.
