EIG was a technology agency based in Indianapolis. As Design Director, I managed a team of designers and oversaw branding, product design, and UX in the development of apps, MVPs, and web platforms. I collaborated with some of the friendliest people I have met in my career, and we excelled at transforming complex problem sets and use cases into palatable, intuitive, and human-centered solutions that helped a variety of organizations, startups, and industries. I also provided creative leadership and strategy for the agency itself, evolving the company brand, marketing, and design processes. EIG was a Netty Award 2023 honoree for “Up-And-Coming Agency of the Year.”

Arkana Connect / App
One of our main clients was Arkana Labs, a cutting-edge laboratory specializing in high-powered microscopic imagery for renal pathology. I led Product Design, and we collaborated closely with the Arkana team through valuable discovery workshops, resulting in a more user-friendly UX solution that aligned with their branding and web platform, and allowed physicians to quickly review recent lab results for their patients through a more intuitive and personalized interface.

Another longterm client was the Indiana Economic Development Corp that was working to increase economic growth across the state of Indiana, and wanted to promote all of the on-going projects that aimed to increase quality of life, place, and opportunity. I provided design direction to update the branding and visual design, as well as product strategy for the design and build of the READI Website, which became a robust, informational web application, with a complex map feature, showcasing over 400 projects in development across the state of Indiana.
Ultraviolet Lens / Platform
Ultraviolet was a client that came to us with a unique challenge of unifying three cybersecurity platforms into one cohesive interface, serving both customers and analysts. I directed product design and UX with our design team, focusing on a strategy that simplified navigation, reduced friction as well as redundancies, and provided an elegant and scalable design system of components that their team could use as building blocks. Our team received a Netty Award for “Best UX Design.”
